About the Role
The Territory Sales Representative will manage customer accounts within a designated territory, focusing on growing business segments by educating clinicians and suppliers on products, programs, and opportunities related to Ki Mobility, Convaid, R82, STAR, and Klaxon. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, communication, and product knowledge within the complex rehab industry.
Responsibilities
- Professionally present, promote, and sell products and services to customers to achieve agreed upon sales targets.
- Establish, develop, and maintain professional and positive business and customer relationships.
- Manage business expenses within guidelines.
- Analyze territory and market potential using company-supplied technology for strategic territory planning.
- Develop detailed information regarding market needs and provide product improvement input.
- Manage key accounts to ensure market penetration across all product segments.
- Understand Company product features, clinical benefits, and pricing in comparison to competitive products.
- Uphold Company values and ethical business conduct, maintaining confidentiality.
- Utilize Asset Panda to manage territory sample fleet, maintaining accurate records.
- Define product strategy for selling in each product category to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Understand various reimbursement platforms and requirements for all products.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and customer service to implement and support products.
- Schedule and complete weekly clinical inservices for customers and clinicians.
- Attend trade shows and assist in exhibition stand setup.
- Act as a leader within the company, presenting core values positively and professionally.
- Provide data analysis and reporting on respective product categories as requested.
- Organize a travel call pattern and appointment calendar to maximize efficiency.
- Work remotely within the designated territory, servicing all customer locations with daily and overnight travel.
- Ensure and follow safety, quality, and other company requirements and standards.
- Keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Perform all duties in a manner that follows, demonstrates, and promotes Company’s values.
- Report to work as scheduled, on time, and able to work the entire work schedule.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high level of interactive communication is required to service customers and clinicians.
- Must have a strong business acumen with an understanding of market potential, profit margins, and contract development and negotiation.
- Ability and determination to attain and/or exceed sales goals.
- Strong presentation skills, ability to listen to customers, and confidence in front of large groups.
- Analytical skills to solve complex problems and make informed decisions.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to lift and handle wheelchairs.
- Intermediate level skills using computer applications (Word, Excel, enterprise software).
- Basic math proficiency.
- Ability to observe and identify details.
- Ability to work extended hours as scheduled, including weekends.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- 3-5 years of experience in the complex rehab industry.
- Experience and proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Intermediate level experience with computer applications.
- Must be able to complete all physical requirements to perform essential functions.
