Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance, including painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and cleaning.
- Maintain curb appeal through landscaping, snow/ice removal, and seasonal upkeep.
- Complete work orders promptly and rotate for emergency on-call coverage (respond within 30 minutes).
- Follow all safety, property, and inspection standards with precision.
- Work closely with peers and residents, showing empathy and pride in every repair.
- Support leasing efforts, resident engagement, and rent collection activities during scheduled weekend hours.
Requirements
- 2+ years of apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance experience (painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, flooring; HVAC experience a plus).
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to cover overtime or nearby communities when needed.
- Basic computer or mobile-app skills for work orders, timekeeping, and training.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Work schedules may include Saturdays, based on property performance needs such as occupancy levels, leasing activity, and rent collections.
- When required, weekend coverage will be scheduled on a rotating basis and aligned with business priorities.
- Employees are expected to support leasing efforts, resident engagement, and rent collection activities during scheduled weekend hours.
