About the Role

Responsible for monitoring, developing, and/or modifying all aspects of Point-of-Care Testing at approved POC testing locations for both Waived and Non-Waived tests.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of Point-of-Care and related testing.
• Operates and troubleshoots Point-of-Care instruments and equipment.
• Performs monthly, quarterly, and semiannual audits at POC testing locations, generating monthly QC statistic reports.
• Monitors POC quality control results and assures appropriate corrective action is taken.
• Audits QC logs and POC compliance activities.
• Provides staff training of both non-waived and waived POC and competency validation.
• Writes and updates test procedures.
• Troubleshoots POC software, tracks POC instruments, and implements new POC sites, including installation and instrument connectivity.
• Manages licensure application and renewal, information management, quality assurance, proficiency testing, and validation studies.
