About the Role

L3Harris is seeking a new graduate to support quality initiatives by developing and maintaining processes that ensure products and materials meet required standards and customer expectations. This role involves working with cross-functional teams and customers to review quality performance, address issues, and support improvement efforts across operations. The position also offers experience in investigating nonconformances, contributing to corrective actions, and assisting with quality documentation and customer communications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality processes and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analyses.
  • Collaborate with internal (Operations, Engineering, and Program Management) and external customers to ensure quality standards are in place and properly executed.
  • Determine root cause for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications and implement effective corrective action.
  • Write inspection procedures and assist in reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections and obtaining proper product dispositions.
  • Analyze quality performance for factory and collaborate with Operations Engineers to develop improvement plans for identified problem areas.
  • Serve as primary customer Quality interface, which may include conducting customer business briefings.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences or related field.
  • Must have completed a bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
