About the Role

To provide Geographic Information Systems support to students through individual and/or group tutorial services, assist with course accessibility, and update instructional materials.

Responsibilities

  • Tutor students according to set priorities and academic goals.
  • Tutor other faculty and staff with GIS.
  • Update captions on instructor videos.
  • Assist with course accessibility requirements.
  • Assist with updating screenshots in project statements of work.
  • Provide assistance to students on a one-on-one or group basis in the subject discipline, college study skills, and Learning Lab resources.
  • Organize supplemental learning materials.
  • Provide feedback on student progress.
  • Assist with research, development, delivery, and evaluation of specialized tutoring services and/or resources for tutorial activities.
  • Lead study groups in the subject matter.
