About the Role
As a Warehouse Associate, you're the one who makes sure crews have what they need, when they need it. You'll manage inbound and outbound shipments, kit jobs, load modules, run will-calls, and keep the whole operation organized and moving. Every day matters because a crew without the right materials is a job that doesn't get done.
Responsibilities
- Assist crews and electricians with material requests.
- Support the service department with material requests and locating Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs).
- Help the Warehouse Manager with fleet maintenance.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and company vehicles.
- Hotshot materials and pick up will-calls.
- Refill itemized bags and keep job kits stocked and ready.
- Run recycling and pallet drop-offs.
- Keep the parts cage neat, organized, and easy to work in.
- Look for ways to reduce material waste.
- Handle data entry accurately and on time.
- Keep the warehouse and office space clean and organized.
- Take on other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse or manufacturing experience
- Valid state driver's license
- Prior forklift experience required
- Comfortable with light lifting and carrying (under 15 lbs), walking, standing, and sitting throughout the day
- Able to operate office equipment and a motor vehicle, with travel by car roughly 10% of the time
- Comfortable working closely with others as well as independently
- Schedule flexibility
Skills
- Highly organized and process-oriented, with sharp attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making
- Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills
- Working knowledge of basic warehouse safety, logistics, and supply chain practices
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), email, and basic data entry
- Solar warehouse experience a plus
- Solar and electrical product knowledge is a plus
- A team player who can also self-lead, with a results-driven, self-motivated attitude
