About the Role
Seeking a Warehouse Technician responsible for the movement, storage, and repair of ice machines and water coolers in our Distribution Center. This individual will also communicate effectively with internal and external customers, representing Quench professionally. The role reports to the Field Service Manager, with 75% of the time spent in the warehouse and 25% in the field assisting the Field Service team.
Responsibilities
- Picking and pulling of orders
- Shipping and receiving, including ground packages and prepping freight shipments
- Performing cycle counts
- Achieving productivity metrics for assigned activities
- Using Quench ERP system to transact activities
- Following best practices for a safe work environment and facility
- Tracking equipment and parts inventory
- Performing work neatly, effectively, and consistent with established standards
- Light assembly work
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment
- High school diploma or GED equivalent desired
- Technical certifications and computer experience are a plus
- Forklift experience/license
- Experience using FedEx World Ship
- Ability to follow direction
- Ability to execute multiple tasks while staying organized in a fast-moving environment
