About the Role

We are hiring a Full-Time Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our high-performing clinical team in a fast-paced orthodontic environment where precision, organization, and accountability matter. You will work directly alongside orthodontists, support clinical efficiency, and help deliver safe, high-quality patient care. This role requires discipline, reliability, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Responsibilities

  • Perform sterilization procedures in accordance with OSHA and established clinical guidelines
  • Prepare precise tray setups for orthodontic procedures
  • Obtain diagnostic records including X-rays, intra-oral scans, photos, and impressions
  • Provide direct chairside assistance under supervision of the orthodontist
  • Accurately enter clinical notes in patient records
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment instructions
  • Fabricate Essix retainers and complete basic lab duties
  • Prepare and document lab cases to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain operatory cleanliness and clinical readiness at all times

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Dental assistant licenses or certification
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in dental or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, techniques, and procedures
  • Strong attendance and reliability
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear communication and professional demeanor
  • Orthodontic experience (preferred)
  • Relevant dental assistant licensure (if required by state law) (preferred)
  • Experience with digital scanning technology (preferred)
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development (preferred)
  • Discipline, coachability, and long-term commitment
