About the Role

BRAVO is a partnership between Velocity Architectural and Engineering Services and Bradford Construction Corporation, bringing together experienced leaders to modernize vital infrastructure and iconic facilities in the New York metropolitan area. We offer comprehensive architectural, engineering, and construction management services, prioritizing client service, project delivery, and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, schedule, and manage all subcontractors and vendors.
  • Expedite subcontractors and vendors on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Identify and resolve construction-related issues as they develop.
  • Supervise self-perform work and develop specialized construction methods to improve job efficiency.
  • Oversee material receiving, ensuring all items are inspected for quantity and quality, and receiving tickets are signed, coded, and filed properly.
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping and cost control records.
  • Support jobsite reporting requirements, including daily reports, field purchase orders, weekly unit reports and updates to the two-week lookahead schedules, monthly updates to the overall construction schedule.
  • Review shop drawings and submittals to assist project managers in maintaining compliance with the submittal schedule and contract documentation.
  • Attend all required jobsite meetings.
  • Maintain consistent quality control in line with company standards.

Requirements

  • Experience with NYC public agencies is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years work experience as a technical specialist in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in interpreting contract documents (specifications, drawings, shop drawings).
  • Experience in new and modernization type construction.
  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Primarily Second Shift (3:30pm - 11:30pm) with occasional Day Shift

  • Minimum 8 years

Education Level

  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field. Additional experience will be considered in absence of a four-year degree.

Salary/Compensations

  • $120,000—$140,000 USD
