About the Role
CLEAR is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build the next generation of products, enabling members to leverage networked digital identity. You will design, implement, test, and deploy applications to enhance our platform, focusing on privacy and security.
Responsibilities
- Advance capabilities across a wide array of industries and domains, gaining hands-on experience with privacy, security, data modeling, and architecture.
- Develop and deliver code across the full stack, driving engineering excellence through best practices in testing, documentation, and observability.
- Partner with product and other stakeholders to uncover requirements, innovate, and solve complex problems.
- Take ownership of architectural decision-making and strive for continuous improvement in technology and processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend software development experience in Java.
- Experience with cloud-based application development.
- Proficiency in cloud service providers like AWS.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with collaboration, integration, and deployment tools like Github, Argo, and Jenkins.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to mixed audiences.
- Ability to collaborate and mentor less experienced team members.
- Comfort with ambiguity.
- Curiosity about technology, belief in constant learning, and ability to be autonomous.
