About the Role

Join Cadence McShane Construction as a Senior Superintendent and play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality projects. You’ll oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Work with preconstruction and marketing teams to prepare project proposals, evaluate bid tabs, conduct QA/QC constructability reviews, and develop preliminary project schedules.
• Ensure complete understanding of individual subcontract agreements.
• Review daily reports for accuracy.
• Manage site SWPPP.
• Review monthly owner billing.
• Track and maintain subcontractor insurance certificates.
• Manage General Conditions.
• Prepare for OAC meetings.
• Conduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Facilitate weekly CMC project team meetings.
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Manage day-to-day activities to meet project milestones and completion dates.
• Monitor and report on project progress.
• Ensure work conforms with drawings and specifications and project team adheres to prime contract requirements.
• Advocate for quality and adherence to the company’s QA/QC Program.
• Participate in the development of site-specific safety plans.
• Champion a culture of safety by driving compliance of the Safety Program.
• Conduct site safety audits and weekly safety meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years’ experience in construction management.
• OSHA 30 required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to traverse long distances, uneven ground surfaces, ascend/descend stairs and ladders, work on upper floor levels, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in outdoor weather conditions.
