About the Role

Wildwood Programs is seeking caring, compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work full-time in a residential setting. This role involves assisting individuals with disabilities in their daily activities and teaching them independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities such as cooking, laundry, and running errands.
• Teach individuals with disabilities how to perform tasks independently.
• Accompany individuals to appointments and activities.
• Document notes as needed.
• Assist individuals with tasks including cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, and money management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must possess a valid NYS driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
