About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and support adherence to site entry and visitor management procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
