About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic government transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to employees, visitors, and the public.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a public transportation location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned transit facilities, platforms, stations, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and public agencies as needed.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, assist with directing pedestrian traffic, and report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior in accordance with site procedures.
Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A Guard Card/License is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
