About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Respond to concerns, report observations, and collaborate with site personnel in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, transit-related areas, entrances, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, hazards, damaged property, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation; communicate observations and updates to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation will be conducted.
- Drug screen may be required.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
