About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Support a welcoming environment through clear communication and reporting while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, or property concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
