About the Role

Marshalls is seeking individuals to maintain a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care. Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, adhering to operational and loss prevention standards, and cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate the scrubber and buffer
• Dust mop, damp mop, sweep, and vacuum floors
• Dust and spot clean glass and windows
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards
• Cross-train to work in multiple areas of the store
• Model customer experience practices
• Support and embody a positive store culture
• Maintain all floor care cleanliness standards
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store
• Adhere to company policies concerning Health and Safety
• Support and respond to all Front End coverage needs
• Adhere to and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Initiate and participate in store recovery
• Adhere to all operational and loss prevention controls
• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates
• Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and run floor buffer and scrubber
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
