About the Role

Northeast Family Services is seeking caring and experienced Outpatient Therapists to join our growing New York team. NFS Outpatient Therapists work collaboratively with clients to help them access their core strengths to be their best selves and realize their full potential. We provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions to treat a youth’s behavioral health needs. We utilize multiple evidence-based practices that promote families' strengths!

Responsibilities

  • Provide services and care to patients in accordance with NFS’ policies.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to help them access their core strengths to be their best selves and realize their full potential.
  • Provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions to treat a youth’s behavioral health needs.
  • Utilize multiple evidence-based practices that promote families' strengths!

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work
  • LCSW Independent Clinical Licensure in the state of NY required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage one's own schedule with client outreach
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle preferred
  • Some afternoon and evening availability is a plus
  • Access to a laptop or CPS, secure internet, and a phone required
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Salary/Compensations

  • $55 to $75 / hour
