About the Role

Northeast Family Services is seeking caring and experienced Home and Community based Therapists to join our growing New York team. Fee for Service HCBT Clinicians will provide services and care to patients in accordance with NFS’ policies. This role offers a unique summer schedule with early closures on Fridays from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Responsibilities

• Provide services and care to patients in accordance with NFS’ policies.
• Work collaboratively with clients to help them access their core strengths to be their best selves and realize their full potential.
• Provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home to treat a youth’s behavioral health needs.
• Utilize multiple evidence-based practices that promote families' strengths.
• Conduct in-person visits to clients' homes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field required.
• Clinical Licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, etc.) and Limited Permit in the state of NY.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting preferred.
• Excellent time-management skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage one's own schedule with client outreach.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle preferred.
• Some afternoon and evening availability is a plus.
• Access to a laptop or CPS, secure internet, and a phone required.
