About the Role
This role involves monitoring and supporting clients in a residential program, ensuring their well-being and adherence to program guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and observe the physical, mental, and emotional status of admitted clients.
- Conduct daily and nightly monitoring of client rooms, kitchen, and common areas for program compliance, health, safety, and security.
- Report on residence progress at every shift change.
- Provide motivation, support, and encouragement to residents for their goals.
- Log telephone calls, personal visits, and significant events during shifts.
- Transport clients to treatment activities, appointments, and recreational opportunities.
- Conduct random and routine urine drug screens and log all information.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
Requirements
- Valid New York State driver license.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Attending or completed 350-hour CASAC course is a plus.
