About the Role
The Patient Services Coordinator provides excellent customer service and administrative support in a busy fertility clinic, managing the day-to-day patient experience and ensuring front desk efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Book and confirm patient appointments, rescheduling and cancelling as necessary.
- Handle patient inquiries regarding appointment policies and testing information via phone and email.
- Answer and transfer incoming clinic calls, take messages, and return calls.
- Maintain up-to-date EMR records by scanning and filing documents.
- Invoice patients for services and medications using QuickBooks.
- Assist with medication inventory and dispensing under nursing supervision.
Requirements
- College diploma and/or Medical Office Assistant diploma.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an office assistant, preferably in a busy medical office.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset.
- Exposure to in-house medical software, CRM, or databases.
- Experience with POS systems for taking payments is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
