About the Role
BioTrans LLC is seeking a Full-time Delivery Driver for our Germantown, NY Hub. This role involves safely operating, loading, unloading, and delivering freight using a small box truck or cargo van, adhering to strict schedules and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight utilizing a small box truck or cargo van.
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow time sensitive schedules that require detailed attention.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to navigate surrounding areas using GPS and comfortable with scanning devices.
- Comfortable climbing into and out of vehicles repeatedly with no difficulties.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck as needed; evaluate and report issues through the appropriate parties (dispatch/ managers).
- Clean, wash and sanitize assigned vehicles.
Requirements
- Must be 21+ years of Age
- Valid driver's license/Real ID
- US Passport Preferred
- Acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes).
- Background check required.
- Ability to use smartphones and willingness to learn our company’s workflow-related applications
- Experience driving cargo vans and box trucks.
- Willing to Obtain Passport to cover additional route coverage.
- Possible overnight stays in hotel paid by company.
