About the Role

Baker Tilly is seeking a Risk Advisory Business Risk Services Consultant to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in a fast-growing consulting and accounting firm, focusing on providing exceptional client service in risk and advisory areas. The practice assists clients in assessing risks, developing strategies, and achieving goals through expertise in risk, governance, internal audit, compliance, IT, and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

  • Think strategically about clients’ business, systems, and risks.
  • Team with clients to develop solutions to problems and drive positive change.
  • Work closely with client executives and management teams to understand their businesses and consult regarding risks and controls.
  • Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with other motivated professionals.
  • Assist with the development of the growing team.
  • Experience working in an AI-enabled practice & firm.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in an Accounting, Business Management, Finance, Public Health, Health Administration, Information Systems, or Technology related degree.
  • If an accounting major, meeting educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire, preferred.
  • Outstanding academic performance required, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Relevant internship, work experience and/or involvement with a professional organization.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel.
  • Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
  • Organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Availability to travel as needed for client projects.
  • Seasonal flexibility to work overtime or additional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Reside within a commutable distance of a Baker Tilly office and be willing to work on-site on a regular basis.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Must be a current Summer 2026 Baker Tilly Intern.
