About the Role

Reporting to the VP of Operations, this role manages the Patient Services team, ensuring operational effectiveness and efficiency while providing the highest quality patient service. The role implements structures and initiatives for a positive patient experience, a collegial work environment, and consistent financial outcomes. This position has multiple direct reports and provides direction, supervision, and leadership to the patient intake, reception, and scheduling team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day patient services operations to ensure the highest quality patient experience.
  • Oversee the patient journey from initial contact through treatment and discharge.
  • Collaborate with other Managers on projects to support organizational efficiency and patient experience.
  • Provide support to Physicians, Clinical Administrators, Nursing, and other Managers.
  • Answer patient questions and concerns via e-mail, telephone, and in person.
  • Ensure compliance with health care standards and internal policies.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the patient in-clinic experience.

Requirements

  • 5 years of leadership experience in a medical office environment (preferably private sector).
  • Superior customer service skills, professional demeanor, and confidentiality are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking, conflict resolution, and data analysis skills.
  • A diplomatic leader who inspires their team and leads with integrity.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage interactions with various HFC personnel, third party organizations/vendors, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
