About the Role
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated caregivers to provide essential personal care services to individuals in need. This role plays a vital part in promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life for clients in home and community settings. As a PCA or HHA with Cocoon Caregiver Solutions, you will deliver personalized care, follow established care plans, and create a safe, respectful environment for every client you serve. Your empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference every day.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility
- Safely support transfers, including use of Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices
- Monitor and document client condition, including vital signs and changes in health
- Follow care plans and support medication reminders in accordance with regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Maintain a clean, safe environment using proper infection‑control practices
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and social engagement
- Accurately document care provided, observations, and incidents
Requirements
- PCA or HHA certification
- Experience in home care, assisted living, group homes, or long‑term care preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, autism support, hospice, or developmental disabilities is a plus
- Ability to lift and assist with transfers safely may be required
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed care plans
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing dignified, person‑centered care
Education Level
- PCA or HHA certification
