About the Role

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated caregivers to provide essential personal care services to individuals in need. This role plays a vital part in promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life for clients in home and community settings. As a PCA or HHA with Cocoon Caregiver Solutions, you will deliver personalized care, follow established care plans, and create a safe, respectful environment for every client you serve. Your empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference every day.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility
Safely support transfers, including use of Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices
Monitor and document client condition, including vital signs and changes in health
Follow care plans and support medication reminders in accordance with regulations
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed
Maintain a clean, safe environment using proper infection‑control practices
Provide companionship, emotional support, and social engagement
Accurately document care provided, observations, and incidents

Requirements

PCA or HHA certification
Experience in home care, assisted living, group homes, or long‑term care preferred
Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, autism support, hospice, or developmental disabilities is a plus
Ability to lift and assist with transfers safely may be required
Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed care plans
Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing dignified, person‑centered care

Education Level
