About the Role

The Trial Clinical Pharmacologist supports the clinical drug development of new and existing drugs by providing clinical pharmacology input and developing PK/PD aspects of clinical trial protocols and reports. This role involves close cooperation with other functional groups and trial team members, focusing on Phase I to III projects for a large international pharmaceutical company.

Responsibilities

  • Support clinical study execution through document contributions and participation in trial team meetings.
  • Assist in generating submission summary documents and pooled analysis reports.
  • Steer PK/PD data analysis, generate results, and present findings to teams.
  • Develop processes and scientific knowledge in clinical pharmacology for trials.
  • Contribute to national and global harmonization within Clinical Pharmacology and Data Science groups.
  • Present study protocols and results in various departmental and project-specific meetings.
  • Present at panel, committee, and external meetings, representing other TMCP functions.
  • Interact with other TMCP groups, departments, and CROs.
  • Contribute to scientific posters and publications.

Requirements

  • At least M.Sc. (or equivalent) in Medicine, Pharmaceutics, Clinical Pharmacology or equivalent area.
  • Expertise in Clinical PK/PD with a minimum of 2-6 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory agencies, or academia.
  • Knowledgeable in clinical PK/PD, biopharmaceutics, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
  • Proficiency in graphic software packages.
  • Proven abilities in understanding and interpretation of statistical output.
  • Good presentation and team-work skills.
  • Strongly independent and diligent.
