About the Role

Join us as a Banquet Supervisor where your contributions will make a significant impact on our guests' experiences! You will meet with the Banquet Manager to discuss set up for the day and then set up the banquet room according to the BEO. Embrace and emulate the values of the Company Culture and Guiding Principles.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set-up the banquet room by reviewing the BEO.
  • Ensure the room is clean by inspecting the entire room.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service of food and beverage to all guests during the function.
  • Acquire a working knowledge of hotel, in-house facilities, and local information to respond to guest questions.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and associates.
  • Maintain a clean, pleasant, and professional image to the guest.
  • Respond courteously and promptly to guests’ requests.
  • Keep the immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.

Requirements

  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company associates to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
  • Request assistance as needed.
  • Requires strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate to guests and team members verbally or in written form.
  • At all times project a favorable image of the Hotel to the public.
  • Must have open availability to work weekends and holidays.
