About the Role
Associate Account Executives (AAE) will work strategically with experienced Account Executives (AE) to drive sales activity through all stages of a deal, aiming to generate closed-won business. This role offers direct exposure to the Navan sales playbook and prepares individuals for career growth in sales, connecting companies with innovative travel and expense solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct prospect research, tailored email and phone outreach, and set/conduct discovery calls.
- Log and track daily sales activities.
- Map prospect organizations and conduct targeted outreach to stakeholders.
- Provide Account Executives with intelligence from ongoing research.
- Nurture relevant contacts and participate in MEDDPICC processes.
- Create action plans in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Prepare external presentation materials with Account Executives.
- Prepare internal brief materials with Account Executives.
- Coordinate with Account Management/launch teams for seamless handoffs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of progressive experience in client-facing roles interacting with high-level stakeholders (C Suite, VPs, Directors).
- Demonstrated project-management experience.
- Hands-on experience in data analysis to drive process efficiencies.
- Experience using tools like Salesforce.
- Passion for business and mapping out solutions.
