About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Sales Assistant to support wholesale sales for an exciting new licensed home brand with a strong fashion heritage and significant growth potential. This role will support the sales team across the soft home and hard home categories, with a focus on off-price and department store channels. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced wholesale environment.

Responsibilities

  • Enter sales orders and follow up with shipping.
  • Provide weekly spreadsheet updates to Account Executive regarding the status of open orders and reporting.
  • Receive Top-Of-Production samples from production and send to retailer.
  • Work with production to ensure delivery times are met.
  • Handle sales-related questions, issues, or changes between the account executive, production, and factory.
  • Work with the shipping department to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to retailer routing/packing/sorting instructions.
  • Evaluate sell-through reports and work with the Sales Team to manage retailer business, open-to-buy, markdowns, replenishment, and flow.
  • Manage available-to-sell lists and inventory.
  • Pull samples for customers from the showroom.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, including setting up samples, gathering presentation materials, and ensuring the showroom is organized.
  • Perform other business-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Highly organized, dedicated, and process-driven team player with heavy attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize workload successfully, and execute projects with fast-turnaround, under budget, and ahead of tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in Excel with a high volume of data.
  • High energy level and a passion for your work and the overall business.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to be flexible for business needs.

Work Type

  • Onsite Monday - Thursday, Friday remote
  • Half Day Fridays with shortened hours during both Summer and Winter seasons

Salary/Compensations

  • $65k - $70k annually
