About the Role

San Francisco Wine Trading Company is seeking energetic, professional, and highly motivated individuals to join their retail and in-house, relationship-based Wine Consultant team. This is a temporary, part-time position averaging 20 hours per week, with a Thursday-Saturday schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of detailed service instore and online to a demanding customer base.
• Build customer relationships.
• Maintain store cleanliness.
• Assist customers and coworkers in a welcoming, hospitality-minded, and helpful manner.
• Plan time efficiently and effectively.
• Wear hats not previously mentioned.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years old to apply.
• Must be able and willing to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be local to San Francisco.
• 3+ years of recent wine industry related experience (wine retail/wholesale, restaurant or other) is required.
• 2+ years of retail experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and an ability to quickly learn new technology/software.

• Ability to type 35-40 words per minute.
