Responsibilities
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Maintain an appropriate level of knowledge and clinical expertise through continuing education, inservice programs, departmental competencies, and self-development activities.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
- Current NYS LPN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through RQI; must obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
- Computer literacy.
