About the Role

Seeking a Manager, Supply Planning and Inventory to enhance supply planning and inventory governance, optimize medium-term planning and working capital, and improve business performance for the Canadian RTE brand (Factor_). This role will own and develop the supply planning and inventory domain, partnering with North American and DC teams to drive optimal inventory control, ensuring availability and high quality. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of strategy and execution in a fast-paced, fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the team, setting clear performance expectations and coaching to build a high-performance culture aligned to HelloFresh’s DNA and Factor Canada’s growth trajectory.
  • Set up and continuously improve the medium-term overview on direct material supply, weeks on hand, and safety stock optimization to support the DCs and Procurement Operations seamless flow.
  • Set up a robust inventory governance framework and subsequent processes fitting into Factor Canada’s growing business needs, providing accurate visibility to upstream and downstream teams.
  • Work closely with the DC Warehousing teams to implement cohesive and well-executed inventory control.
  • Drive change management in the DC on processes and SOP, lead in setting up RACI and implementation.
  • Contribute directly to the business’ financial performance by owning and driving supply planning and inventory related targets, including working capital target and network optimization.
  • Drive optimization in safety stock principles, set up optimal weeks on hand to balance working capital and production needs.
  • Optimize the supply network in the medium term to drive efficiency in storage, transportation, and secure supply with quality to serve customer needs.
  • Support tech and tool launches related to supply planning and inventory management.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders across Finance, Commercial, and Operations to align supply planning decisions with business-wide KPIs.
  • Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in planning, inventory, and/or supply chain experience.
  • Demonstrated people management experience, including directly managing, coaching, and elevating team members.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills.
  • Ability to use a root cause analysis mindset to continuously improve and drive optimization.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude.
  • Experience working in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and constantly changing environment.
  • Highly self-driven and resilient, comfortable navigating ambiguity, setting direction without a perfect playbook, and leading through change in a scaling business.
  • Effective collaborator who empowers and enables others to share ideas, raises awareness, gets buy-in, and delivers fast and well-rounded solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments, prioritize, and meet budgets, deadlines, and achieve objectives.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules and in cold facilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Suite (Calendar, Gmail, Docs, Sheets).
  • Disclosure of any concerns with being exposed to any particular food ingredients, including meat, during the hiring process.
