About the Role
As a Teller at CNB, you are the face of our bank, building, growing, and retaining relationships. You will provide quality customer service by being friendly and courteous while answering customers’ questions. This role is also on the front lines of our fraud and risk management efforts.
Responsibilities
- Accepting deposits
- Cashing checks
- Balancing a cash drawer accurately and efficiently
- Providing quality customer service
- Answering customers’ questions
- Making recommendations based on banking options
- Abiding by current regulations, bank policies and procedures
- Keeping an eye out for potential fraud
- Completing 90-day Teller training
- Being dependable for all scheduled shifts
- Making qualified customer referrals as part of Retail Referral program
- Becoming proficient in all relevant banking systems and retail banking products
- Minimizing errors with all transactions processed
Requirements
- A high school diploma or high school equivalency
- Valid Driver’s License & reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with a PC and associated programs (such as Microsoft Office)
- Strong customer service/sales experience
- Cash handling skills
- Availability to complete the initial 90-day training program in its entirety
