About the Role
The Prime Video Science team uses machine learning, AI, and causal inference to inform key entertainment business decisions like content creation, licensing, and investment. This role focuses on designing experiments, evaluating AI systems, and translating complex analyses into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze randomized experiments to validate models and measure the impact of changes.
- Build evaluations and benchmarks for AI systems.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on model outputs, experiment results, and customer behavior.
- Apply statistical modeling, causal inference, and data analysis to answer business questions.
- Communicate findings to business, finance, engineering, and science stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master's degree or above in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science).
- 2+ years of data scientist experience.
- 2+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab).
- 2+ years of experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, data mining, and analytics techniques.
- 1+ year of experience working with or evaluating AI systems.
