About the Role
Lamb's Tire & Automotive is seeking a General Service Technician to perform essential vehicle maintenance and ensure customer safety on the road. This role offers a great opportunity to grow your automotive career with a leading company that values its employees and promotes from within.
Responsibilities
- Perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing & rotation
- Conduct oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance
- Perform multi-point inspections and document vehicle conditions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
- Drive vehicles safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws
- Pick up parts and supplies
- Transport customers as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to supervisor
- Support team members with assigned tasks
- Adhere to Sun Auto's core values, policies, and procedures
Requirements
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Flexibility to work Saturdays
- Previous automotive experience preferred, but energetic and hard-working individuals with a passion for cars will be considered
- High level of motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- Basic automotive systems knowledge (preferred)
- State Inspector License (preferred)
