About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries as a Part-Time Security Officer. This role offers flexibility with scheduling and opportunities to explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, support access control, and interact professionally with visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Clear communication.
