About the Role
Perform non-routine assignments and provide technical support with high variety and complexity. Develop, design, install, and maintain new processes, tests, and/or control systems. Possess critical company knowledge of processes/systems and be responsible for projects and deadlines. Act as a lead technician in a group.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to GB Core Beliefs and all safety and quality requirements.
- Perform highly complex technical projects coordinating internal and external resources/vendors.
- Develop specifications and research sources for equipment/components.
- Design, plan, execute and report experiments and/or test apparatus.
- Gather, maintain, and manipulate technical data.
- Design, recommend, assemble and install equipment/apparatus and processes.
- Produce documentation, reports, and drawings.
- Write technical reports and other required documentation.
- Write instructions and train personnel in proper techniques.
- Perform complex troubleshooting; repair, modify and maintain systems and/or equipment.
- Analyze data, evaluate systems and processes and make decisions regarding modifications.
- Interact with and advise other departments.
- Lead tasks of other technicians within group.
- Contribute to the development and compliance of ISO and GMP quality system.
- Mentor other department technicians.
- Perform other functions as required.

- Ability to read and develop technical drawings/prints.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Computer operation skills.
- Strong mechanical/electrical/technical aptitude.
- Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
