About the Role
This position assists the Director of Materials Management Information Systems in running the Lawson HelpDesk and supporting the Supply Chain Administration department. The role involves assisting users with the Lawson financial system, managing item numbers, supporting training classes, and updating policies.
Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls for the Lawson Helpdesk, assisting users with inquiries about placing orders, budget information, item details, and invoices.
- Create and update item numbers in the Lawson system, collaborating with Purchasing for approval and filing necessary paperwork.
- Create reports using Microsoft Access by extracting data from Lawson.
- Develop item templates to assist users with order placement in Lawson.
- Manage the Lawson training calendar, prepare class rosters, and distribute training materials.
- Execute query requests using Microsoft Excel Add-ins and Crystal reporting.
- Update department policies as required.
Requirements
- Associate's degree and at least 1 year of experience in a hospital or health care setting, OR a minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital or health care setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Customer service experience.
- Teamwork experience.
- Resume/CV must be included with the online application.
- Successfully complete pre-employment physical examination and obtain medical clearance.
- Complete electronic reference check with a minimum of three professional references.
- Successfully complete a 4 panel drug screen.
- Meet Regulatory Requirements for pre-employment screenings.
- Provide a copy of any required New York State license(s)/certificate(s).
