About the Role
This role focuses on providing exceptional guest service, anticipating and fulfilling guest needs, ensuring rooms are meticulously prepared, and offering personalized dining and concierge services. You will be the main point of contact for guests, proactively addressing concerns and ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor, handling luggage and parking services.
- Provide a high level of personalized service to guests.
- Serve as the main point of contact for guests during their stay, offering assistance and following up on requests.
- Take proactive measures to prevent potential guest concerns.
- Anticipate and fulfill guests' needs and preferences, including arranging special requests and reservations.
- Obtain preferred housekeeping service times for VIP guests.
- Provide information about the property and its amenities.
- Ensure guest rooms and suites are meticulously prepared and maintained, including turndown service.
- Ensure cleanliness and restock amenities in guest rooms.
- Foster a welcoming environment for guests.
- Provide in-room dining services, taking orders, setting up tables, and recommending food and beverages.
- Provide recommendations and reservations for local attractions, restaurants, and activities.
- Assist with transportation, airport transfers, and special requests.
- Manage guest requests efficiently with an organized schedule.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service.
- Handle transactions and maintain knowledge of facility layout and guest records.
- Maintain knowledge of facility floor plan, including emergency exits.
- Respect and uphold the privacy and confidentiality of all guests.
- Address guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally, seeking swift and effective solutions.
- Cross-train in the Rooms Division department, providing support for PBX, guest transportation, and assisting Front Desk operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least two years of experience in hospitality, customer service or related field
- Must be able to maintain a positive attitude under stressful work conditions
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Knowledge of fine dining etiquette and in-room service standards
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
