About the Role
You will own demand generation across Modulr’s priority verticals, bringing together a shared plan and clear definition of success to turn activity into predictable pipeline. This is a build role where you will define and hire for open positions, shaping the function to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Own the quarterly pipeline commitment across verticals, including conversion rates and cost per meeting.
- Lead demand generation owners and product marketers working as pods within each vertical.
- Enhance paid acquisition through rigorous testing and experimentation across paid search and social.
- Develop events into a measurable pipeline channel with capture targets and conversion tracking.
- Build a distinct playbook for the SME and accountant motion, focusing on partner enablement.
- Establish an outbound engine in collaboration with the sales development team, sharing a unified pipeline goal.
- Define, hire, and develop team members to foster high performance.
- Integrate AI into team workflows and agents to compress campaign cycles and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Owned a pipeline number across multiple verticals or segments, with the ability to describe specific actions taken.
- Managed paid, lifecycle, events, and outbound marketing as an integrated system.
- Demonstrated fluency in the marketing funnel, including lead-to-meeting-to-opportunity conversions.
- Experience managing agencies with clear goals and accountability.
- Proven ability as a builder, with experience in establishing functions rather than managing mature ones.
- Hands-on approach, comfortable working in platforms, analyzing numbers, and crafting copy.
- Real fluency with AI, including building and shipping agents, automations, and workflows.
- B2B marketing experience is required.
- Experience in payments, fintech, or another regulated and technically complex product is preferred.
- Experience within the £50–150M ARR band is preferred.
