About the Role
Join the Finger Lakes Health team as an Environmental Services Aide, playing an essential part in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the community. This role directly supports patients, families, and healthcare teams, contributing to infection prevention efforts and ensuring a positive experience for all.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and detailed cleaning of patient rooms, offices, public areas, and other assigned spaces
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment
- Clean and disinfect beds, restrooms, furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Replenish supplies and remove trash and linen promptly
- Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment
- Follow infection prevention guidelines and safety procedures
- Properly use cleaning chemicals, personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety equipment
- Respond to department needs and complete assigned tasks efficiently
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years old to operate certain floor machines and carpet equipment
