About the Role
Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join their staff in central New York. This role offers access to a dedicated OR for urgent and elective trauma reconstructive cases, with separate call schedules for Spine and Hand. The practice covers one centrally located ER and is part of a progressive academic health system affiliated with Columbia University.
Responsibilities
- Perform urgent and elective trauma reconstructive surgery.
- Participate in general orthopedic call with orthopedic hospitalists.
- Provide care within Bassett Healthcare Network, serving an 8-county region.
- Engage with surgical residents and medical students.
- Collaborate with an established group of Orthopedic Surgeons and Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs).
Requirements
- MD, DO, or MBBS.
- BC/BE in Orthopedics.
- Completion of an accredited USA orthopedic surgery residency.
- Board eligibility upon residency completion.
- New York Medical License or eligibility to obtain.
- BLS Certification Required.
- DEA Required.

- $588,390 - $690,684
