About the Role

Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join their staff in central New York. This role offers access to a dedicated OR for urgent and elective trauma reconstructive cases, with separate call schedules for Spine and Hand. The practice covers one centrally located ER and is part of a progressive academic health system affiliated with Columbia University.

Responsibilities

• Perform urgent and elective trauma reconstructive surgery.
• Participate in general orthopedic call with orthopedic hospitalists.
• Provide care within Bassett Healthcare Network, serving an 8-county region.
• Engage with surgical residents and medical students.
• Collaborate with an established group of Orthopedic Surgeons and Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs).

Requirements

• MD, DO, or MBBS.
• BC/BE in Orthopedics.
• Completion of an accredited USA orthopedic surgery residency.
• Board eligibility upon residency completion.
• New York Medical License or eligibility to obtain.
• BLS Certification Required.
• DEA Required.

• $588,390 - $690,684
