About the Role
VPA is seeking dedicated Valet Parking Attendants to join our growing team in the Syracuse, NY area. This role is crucial for maintaining a professional image for our client establishments and ensuring excellent customer service by safely parking and retrieving patron vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional image for client establishments.
- Assist patrons in any way possible.
- Park vehicles safely and securely.
- Retrieve vehicles quickly to minimize customer wait times.
- Collaborate effectively with coworkers.
- Stand for the duration of the shift.
- Run/jog to retrieve cars frequently.
- Enter and exit customer vehicles multiple times daily.
- Lift various items such as wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, and baggage.
- Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including inclement weather.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to drive a standard transmission vehicle.
- Must have own transportation.
- Must have experience working in customer service.
- Must have a good driving record.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers (both written and verbal).
