About the Role
Join Concerned Dental Care of Richmond Hill as a Dental Hygienist on a 2-day part-time basis. This role offers a supportive, efficient, and rewarding environment where you can thrive, build meaningful patient relationships, and provide personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive hygiene care including cleanings, scaling, root planing, and fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on oral health, prevention, and long-term care strategies
- Capture and interpret digital x-rays
- Identify periodontal and restorative needs and collaborate with the dentist
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure OSHA/HIPAA compliance
- Create a comfortable, positive experience for every patient
- Support a smooth, efficient daily schedule and patient flow
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program (required)
- Active NY State Dental Hygienist license and CPR certification (required)
- Local anesthesia certification (a plus)
