About the Role
Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a BC/BE physician to join its existing group of Pulmonologists/Sleep Physicians in central New York. This role involves inpatient consultations, outpatient clinic, pulmonary procedures, and interpretation of sleep studies, with opportunities for teaching and research.
Responsibilities
- Inpatient pulmonary consultations
- Outpatient clinic
- Pulmonary procedures and interpretation of sleep studies
- Resident and Medical Student supervision and teaching
- Weekly multidisciplinary clinic-radiologic conference
- Bronchoscopy with EBUS, Point of care Ultrasound
- Collaboration with ENT for hypoglossal nerve stimulator therapy
- Collaboration with Interventional radiology and Thoracic surgery for procedures
Requirements
- MD, DO or MBBS
- BC/BE
- Completion of an accredited USA Pulmonology residency program
- NYS Licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS Certification Required
- DEA Required
