About the Role
The Total Wealth 360 team is seeking an experienced Salesforce Development Lead to oversee the successful delivery of complex Salesforce initiatives across the Financial Services Cloud ecosystem. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, agile, and innovation-driven lab environment, partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes. The successful candidate will provide hands-on development leadership and end-to-end delivery ownership across multiple workstreams, enabling a unified single-pane-of-glass experience for Advisors by seamlessly integrating data, workflows, and insights into a cohesive and scalable platform. The Salesforce Development Lead is expected to lead teams operating under Agile Scrum and Kanban delivery models and will be accountable for driving delivery predictability, team velocity, and engineering excellence.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior Business and Technology leaders to define delivery strategy, execution plans, and roadmaps.
- Deliver enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations across complex, multi-org environments.
- Lead cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, QA, Architecture, and Operations.
- Lead Agile teams using Scrum and Kanban delivery models.
- Manage Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Oversee iteration planning, capacity management, dependency tracking, and delivery forecasting.
- Drive code quality and delivery discipline through standards, peer reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Support production stability, incident management, and root cause analysis.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior technical leadership or delivery role.
- Deep experience with Salesforce DX, Lightning (Aura/LWC), Apex, and asynchronous processing (Batch, Queueable, Future).
- Hands-on experience overseeing production deployments, sandbox strategies, rollback approaches, and enterprise release runbooks.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Flows, automation frameworks, and scalable solution patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to lead Agile teams through continuous improvement, velocity optimization, and predictable delivery outcomes.
- Exposure to data migration and integration tools (e.g., Data Loader, middleware platforms).
- Solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Prior experience in Banking or Financial Services, preferably Wealth Management.
