About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Salesforce Engineer for the Product & Technology (P&T) team. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role for an expert who enjoys deep technical work and solid architecture. You will push engineering standards forward, solve hard problems, and lead our charge into AI-driven automation. You’ll be the main technical point person for our marketing tools (Zoom, Sumo, and LeanData) and will play a critical role in our Q2 AI initiatives. We care about results and need someone who can move the needle on critical projects while ensuring platform reliability during growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration and development for Salesforce and integrated tools to support complex logic.
- Stay hands-on with the codebase, developing applications using Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), VisualForce Pages, and Aura Components.
- Serve as a key driver for our AI roadmap, focusing on implementing Agentforce, Voice Recognition, and Outreach Automation.
- Leverage AI to streamline the "Consignor + Store Buyer" relationship management lifecycle.
- Develop technical diagrams, integration standards, and methods for environment management.
- Ensure solutions are built for scale, performance, and reliability.
- Own code from start to finish, building for performance and scale with bulk-safe patterns and automated tests.
- Lead design discussions to ensure solutions align with global governance and enterprise standards.
- Provide ongoing technical support for existing custom Apex code and configurations.
- Advise other engineers through code reviews and sharing best practices.
- Work with business stakeholders to provide technical guidance on security and performance, translating requirements into solutions.
Requirements
- 5 or more years in a mid-to-large company with a history of shipping complex technical projects in a matrixed environment.
- Deep technical proficiency in Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), VisualForce Pages, and Aura Components.
- Proven experience or deep knowledge in Agentforce and AI-driven automations.
- Experience with integration tech, SSO, Master Data Management, and Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Multiple Salesforce certifications required: Platform Developer II (PDII) and at least one Architect-track certification (e.g., Application Architect or System Architect).
- Project Management certifications (preferred).
- Experience with LeanData, Xactly, Genesys PureCloud, Jira, Zoom, and Sumo integrations (preferred).
- Knowledge of managing multiple Salesforce orgs and/or multiple teams using Salesforce (preferred).
- Experienced working with complex Salesforce orgs with hundreds or thousands of users (preferred).
