About the Role
Providing warm and caring bar and restaurant service, ensuring guests’ needs are promptly and efficiently met. This is a part-time position averaging 16-29 hours per week, requiring availability on weekends and weekdays during afternoon-evening shifts.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of food and beverages to guests
- Promotes and up-sells on liquor and food
- Must be completely familiar with all the different kinds of liquor, recipes and prices of drinks, proper glassware and garnishes
- Follows guidelines established in regard to age identification for suspected minors and when dealing with an intoxicated customer
- Attend required meetings
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Be extremely courteous to all customers and fellow employees
- Report unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately
- Maintain hotel equipment in proper working conditions
- Any other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor
Requirements
- Hotel Operations or Customer Service experience preferred
- Communicates effectively with others
- Works productively with a team
- Effective multitasking skills
- Composure and patience under pressure
- Skilled in working with multiple computer programs
- TABC and Food Handler's Certifications
