About the Role

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking an Anesthesiologist - Pain Medicine to join the team at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. This role involves practicing an expanded Anesthesia Care model, taking a leadership role in navigating perioperative processes in collaboration with surgeons and nursing staff, and focusing on interventional procedures and medication plans for chronic conditions. The department is equipped with modern anesthesia equipment for safe practice.

Responsibilities

Prepare and administer general and regional anesthetics and pain medication, adjusting as needed before, during, and after surgery and other procedures.
Perform venous and arterial punctures.
Mentor and supervise anesthesiology interns, residents, and fellows.

Requirements

Active or eligible for a NYS License
Board eligibility or certification in Anesthesiology through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)
Board eligibility or certification in Pain Medicine through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)

Salary/Compensations

$421,000.00 - $431,000.00 Salary/year
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000
Projected bonus of up to $40,000
