About the Role
Global Gourmet Catering is hiring a part-time Barista in San Francisco, CA for a flexible schedule in a creative, art-centered environment. This role offers a rewarding opportunity where reliability and attention to detail are valued.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly.
- Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, beverages, and food according to food safety standards.
- Operate espresso machines, café equipment, and POS systems.
- Handle cash accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front- and back-of-house areas.
- Restock supplies using FIFO standards.
- Perform full espresso bar and kitchen cleaning at close.
- Secure equipment and deposits.
- Prepare the café for the next day.
Requirements
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6–8 hours per shift with scheduled rest and meal breaks).
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Dependable professional who takes ownership of their role and cares about quality.
